Why I Love RadioI have always had a fascination with radio and on this page, I am going to try and explain why I love this form of communication.
To me, radio is the most portable and effective means of communicating information. You can sit at a beach or lie down indoors with a simple transistor or mobile radio device and get the information LIVE. There is no huge delay and mroe often than not, listeners can take part and get interactive with their show of choice.

The BBC's world famous Radio 1 is the home of international DJs like Chris Moyles and Zane Lowe. The early morning breakfast show is presented by Greg James, who himself was involved in student radio during his time at UEA.
Pure FM were lucky to host Greg James in January 2009 when he was DJing at Portsmouth Students' Union.
The local station in Kent, I have been listening to Invicta FM since I was 8 years old. Stephen Sullivan was my radio idol as a youngster and I used to wait each day to hear The Fridge, which was the daily evening request program.
Since 2008, it was announced that the station, along with many others nationwide were to assume the Heart Identity and this will happen on the 22nd June 2009!
